This page explains how to delete your VPQ account and the associated data. VPQ is operated by Juk Sports, Inc. (DBA VPQ) and distributed on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

In-app account deletion (recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is from within the VPQ mobile app:

1. Open the VPQ app on your device

2. Tap Profile in the bottom navigation

3. Tap Delete Account

4. Confirm the deletion when prompted (requires double confirmation)

Account deletion takes effect immediately in our active systems. You will be logged out and your account cannot be recovered.

Request deletion via email

If you are unable to use the in-app deletion flow, you can request account deletion by emailing privacy@vpq.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Include:

• The email address associated with your VPQ account (if known)

• Your Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In email, if different

• Confirmation that you are the account holder

We will process valid email-based deletion requests within 30 days of receipt.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your user account record and unique account identifier

• All videos you have uploaded to VPQ

• All moment tags you have created

• Your upload queue (including any pending uploads)

• Your analytics identity (reset to anonymous)

• Authentication tokens stored in VPQ's identity provider (WorkOS)

• Session and replay data associated with your user ID in Sentry

Deletion takes effect immediately in our active systems. Backup copies are purged within 30 days of your deletion request.

What may be retained

Some data may be retained for limited periods after account deletion:

• Shared content via public links: If you have shared videos via public share links or via Instagram Reels export, those shared copies may remain accessible through external services (content delivery networks, social platforms) after deletion from VPQ. You are responsible for revoking or deleting any content you have shared externally.

• Legal retention: Information we are legally required to retain (for example, in response to a valid legal process) may be retained for the period required by law.

• Aggregate, de-identified analytics: Aggregate usage statistics that cannot be traced back to you may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.

• Payment records (if applicable): If you had a paid subscription, billing records held by our payment processor Stripe are retained per Stripe's policies and applicable tax and financial recordkeeping requirements.

Content featuring minors

If you are a parent or guardian requesting removal of content featuring your minor that was uploaded by another user, please see our Parental Authority & Community Guidelines for the dedicated removal process. That process is separate from and does not require account deletion.
